Welcome to our charmingly furnished Landhaus Strobl am See, situated in one of the most beautiful spots in Bad Wiessee, which lies on the Tegernsee in Upper Bavaria.
Its perfectly quiet and sunny position in the Abwinkl spa gardens – only a few meters from the lake promenade – ensures that you will quickly be able to recuperate in the house and the garden.
Everything is within easy reach. The town centre, with numerous shops and restaurants, is only ten to twenty minutes on foot, and the bus stop and landing stage are just a few steps away.
If you like an active holiday, then you’re in good hands with us. We – the Strobls – are a sporting family, and we’ve been familiar with what the Tegernsee has to offer in the way of leisure pursuits ever since we were children.

Tegernsee & Alpenvorland
Ballonfahren im Tegernseer Tal - eine der schönsten Landschaften Bayerns - ist ein eindruckvolles Erlebnis mit einem grandiosem Blick auf das Alpenpanorama.
Wir starten morgens meist direkt in den Bergen im südlichen Tegernseer Tal und am Abend etwas nördlich vom Tegernsee.
Der Wind bestimmt die fast lautlose Fahrt über Berge, Täler und Seen vor dem einmaligen Alpenpanorama.
Bei guter Sicht scheinen Zugspitze, Großglockner und Großvenediger zum Greifen nah.
Wir starten zu allen Jahreszeiten bei entsprechenden Wetterbedingungen.
Die Ballonfahrt dauert ca. 1 1/2 Stunden, insgesamt sollten Sie etwa 4 Stunden Zeit mitbringen.
Solange dauert das gemeinsame Aufrüsten, die Ballonfahrt, die traditionelle Tauffeier und die Fahrt mit dem Verfolgerfahrzeug zum Ausgangspunkt.

Bathing at Tegernsee
Only a few meters from the hotel there is a well-tended bathing beach with food and services.
Treat yourself to a visit to the Bad Wiessee bathing park.
There is also a lake pool and heated pool in Rottach-Egern, which is just five kilometres away.
The "alpamare" adventure pool is also very well known in the region. It is in Bad Tölz, about seventeen kilometres away.
The "Gumpen" – basin-like depressions formed by mountain streams – are also an attraction for many of our guests. Has your curiosity been aroused? Then we’ll be pleased to help you.
